Malcolm is a cardiologist with a long-term interest in the diagnosis and management of Marfan syndrome. Along with his wife Jennifer he was involved in the setting up of the Marfan Clinic at Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane in the early 1990s.
Jennifer has been a clinical and research nurse, initially in Sydney, then in Adelaide and now in Brisbane. She was involved in setting up the Marfan Clinic in Brisbane and was the Clinic Coordinator from 1993 until end 2016.

Belinda is an accountant in Adelaide and has managed the financial activities and obligations of the fund since its inception.
Trish first suggested the setting up of a Marfan Foundation in the early 2000s. She was instrumental in obtaining funding for preparing a constitution for the Foundation. She initiated fund-raising with a walk from Adelaide to Canberra in 2008 as a way of bringing to attention the plight of people with Marfan syndrome.
